PDF Fill and Sign lets you add text, dates, checkmarks, initials and signature appearances to PDF documents directly in your browser. No upload, no account, no server processing—your files stay on your device.

How to Fill and Sign a PDF

  2. Use the toolbar to add text, dates or symbols
  3. Click the Signature button to draw, type or upload a signature
  4. Drag elements to position them, resize or rotate as needed
  5. Review all pages before downloading
  6. Click Finish & Download to generate the filled PDF

Users should confirm acceptance requirements with the document recipient and consult legal professionals for high-risk or formal documents.

Data & Privacy

Your PDF and all signature data are processed entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to Qudo servers. Signatures are not saved by default and all data is cleared when you close the page.

It does not provide identity verification, certificate-based digital signatures, multi-party signing workflows, or XFA form support. Modifying a PDF may invalidate existing digital signatures. Are PDFs and signatures uploaded to a server?▼
No. All processing happens in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to Qudo servers.
Can I draw a handwritten signature?▼
Yes. Click the Signature button and choose Draw to sign with your mouse, finger or stylus.
Can I type a signature?▼
Yes. Choose Type in the signature dialog, enter your name and select a handwriting-style font.

Does Qudo verify the signer's identity?▼
No. This tool only places a signature appearance on the PDF. It does not verify identity.
Is the signature legally valid?▼
Legal validity depends on the document, recipient requirements and applicable law. Consult a legal professional for formal documents.
Can I invite others to sign?▼
No. This tool is for individual use only. Multi-party signing workflows are not supported.
Can I fill scanned forms?▼
Yes, you can add text and signatures over scanned PDF pages. However, the tool cannot detect or fill existing form fields in scanned documents.
Can I fill existing PDF form fields?▼
The tool detects AcroForm fields but v1 focuses on free-form text and signature placement rather than interactive form filling.
Why are some form fields not recognized?▼
XFA dynamic forms and some complex AcroForm structures may not be fully supported.
Is XFA form supported?▼
XFA forms may not be fully readable. You can still add text and signatures manually.
Will modifying the PDF affect existing digital signatures?▼
Yes. Adding content to a PDF may invalidate existing digital signatures. Keep the original file.
Can I undo or modify a signature?▼
Yes. Use the Undo button or select and delete any element before downloading.
Can I continue editing after downloading?▼
No. Once downloaded, the PDF is final. You can go back to edit before downloading.
Can I add signatures to multiple pages?▼
Yes. Navigate to each page and add signatures, or use Copy to All Pages.
Can I copy the same signature to multiple pages?▼
Yes. Select the signature element and use Copy to All Pages.
Will the PDF quality be reduced?▼
No. The tool preserves the original PDF content and only adds new elements. Text remains searchable.
Can I process password-protected PDFs?▼
Password-protected PDFs cannot be processed. Remove the password first using a PDF reader.
