Limitations
Animated GIF only retains the first frame. Very large images (over 8000px) may cause browser memory issues. Font rendering may vary slightly across browsers. EXIF data may be partially lost after Canvas re-export. Processing very large batches may be slow on low-end devices.

Text vs Image Watermarks
Text watermarks are ideal for copyright notices, names, URLs, dates, and labels. They are lightweight and easily customizable. Image watermarks are best for brand logos, store badges, signatures, and graphic marks. They preserve exact visual appearance across all images.
Relative Size vs Fixed Pixels
Relative size mode calculates the watermark as a percentage of each image's dimensions. This ensures consistent visual proportions across images of different sizes. Fixed pixel mode keeps the watermark at the exact same pixel size regardless of image dimensions. Use relative for mixed-size batches and fixed for uniform product photos.
9-Grid Positioning
The 9-grid system places watermarks at nine predefined positions (corners, edges, center). The actual pixel position is calculated relative to each image's dimensions, so the watermark appears in a visually consistent location across different image sizes.

Are images uploaded to a server?
No. All processing happens in your browser. Images are never sent to any server.
How many images can I process at once?
Up to 50 images, with a total size limit of 200MB and 30MB per image.
How to keep watermark size consistent across different image sizes?
Use "Fixed pixels" mode to maintain the same pixel size, or "Relative size" mode for proportional scaling.
Can I add multiple watermarks?
Yes. You can add multiple text and logo layers, each with independent settings.
Does it support transparent logos?
Yes. PNG logos with transparency are fully supported and will retain transparent areas.
How to create a tiled watermark?
Enable "Tiled watermark" in the layer settings. Adjust gap, rotation, and offset to control the pattern.
Why don't animated GIFs play after processing?
The current version only processes the first frame of animated GIFs. Animation is not preserved.
Why is the output file larger?
If output quality is set high or converting from JPG to PNG, the file may grow. Try lowering the quality setting.
Why does JPG have no transparent background?
JPG format does not support transparency. When converting transparent images to JPG, a background color (white, black, or custom) is applied.
Is EXIF data preserved?
After Canvas re-export, some EXIF metadata may be lost. This is a browser limitation.
Can I use this on mobile?
Yes. The tool is responsive and works on mobile browsers, though processing large images may be slower.
